Calling K-12 teachers: Cultural Competency Workshop (free). Tuesday, June 23rd. 8:30am-3:30pm. Hosted by Philippine Center of MN. 1380 Frost Ave, St. Paul, MN 55109. PELSB (Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board) Cultural Competency training is a mandatory, state-approved professional development requirement for all licensed K-12 educators in Minnesota. Led by AmazeWorks and Elevate Teaching PELSB-certified trainers. Additional feature - New immigrant and international educators: This workshop includes a session with an immigration lawyer.
