Sophie Herrington

Sophie Herrington joined the AmazeWorks team as a Quaker Voluntary Service Fellow in 2021 and started full-time in 2022 with excitement to continue bringing belonging to life. Sophie graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in human rights and conflict studies and a minor in writing. Her background includes a focus on reproductive rights and health, where she led her school’s Planned Parenthood Generation Action chapter in their fight to improve campus resources and support for victims of sexual assault. A native Alabamian, Sophie felt welcomed by the state of Minnesota and the ducks of Powderhorn Park.
